Fans can vote to help Rams win weekly contest

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State quarterback Patrick O'Brien and punter Ryan Stonehouse were both highlighted for their performances last week, and fans have a chance to make both weekly winners for their respective awards.

O'Brien was one of eight quarterbacks tabbed as one of the stars of the week by The Manning Award. The junior completed 25-of-34 passes for a career-best 420 yards and three touchdowns in the win over New Mexico. It was the second time in four starts this season where O'Brien has surpassed 400 yards through the air.

Fans can vote here to choose O'Brien as the quarterback they felt had the best performance nationally in Week 7.

For the second week in a row, Stonehouse has been made one of Ray's 8 – the Ray Guy Awards choices for the best punting performances for the week. Against New Mexico, Stonehouse averaged 45.6 yards on five attempts with a long of 56, one of his kicks landing inside the opponent's 20. The nation's active career leader in punting average (47.3 average), he ranks sixth this season at 47.3 yards per attempt, and the Rams rank third in net punting (44.4).
