FORT COLLINS — Posting a pair of Mountain West wins that kept the Colorado State volleyball team one of only two unbeatens in the country, the Rams climbed into the top 10 of the national polls for the first time in nine seasons on Monday.

The Rams, 19-0 (10-0 MW), rose to No. 9, jumping three spots from No. 12 last week. The last time the Rams were in the top 10 was when they were ranked ninth on Nov. 29, 2004, heading into the NCAA Tournament. The highest the Rams have even been was No. 3, sitting there five straight weeks in 2000.

Colorado State faced three straight road games to start the second half of conference play, one win shy of the all-time program record for consecutive wins to start a season.

Missouri, the other unbeaten team, is ranked No. 7.
